A three-channel video projection featuring multiple variations of the same Star Trek influenced feminine avatar,

paired with Grand Theft Auto V gameplay and found audio from viral pop culture moments.

V1X3N is a multi-channel video installation consisting of a cast of avatars, in multiple color variations of the same character, drawing visual inspiration from the seductresses of Star Trek. These avatars appear in multiples across all three projection screens, performing gestures and body language influenced by the found audio clips of pop culture moments from celebrity women such as Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, and Trisha Paytas. This work explores how virtual performance, particularly in feminine coded contexts, is replicated and distorted in online spaces.
